With Oakfield’s show home due to open in early 2022, we want to draw on the amazing talent that the Swindon area has to offer and give a nod to our town’s past with a creative competition. Read on to find out more.
We’re running a competition for local artists and art/textile students to create designs that can be transformed into print for wall art and printed onto soft furnishings like cushion covers at Oakfield’s show home. Your artwork will reach lots of prospective buyers through free advertising and for art students is a great accolade to add to your CV.
First prize - £100 arts and crafts vouchers
Runners up - £50 arts and crafts vouchers

Competition opens at midnight on Thursday 21 October and closes at midnight on Sunday 2 January 2022.
This competition is open to those who live within a five-mile radius of Swindon, Wiltshire and are aged 15+. Full details of the competition can be found here. This competition is being run by Nationwide Building Society, Oakfield’s lead sponsor. Please submit your proposal and design idea to oakfield@nationwide.co.uk by midnight on Sunday 2nd January 2022 along with your name, contact details, age, college (if applicable) and a short description of your design and inspiration.
